Thank you!

Melissa,

Thank you so much for the class. It was very organized and extremely useful especially in that you answered all of our questions. I finally got the updated program, yey! I started to update my mom’s website. I changed her logo using the gradient tool. I wanted to blend part of a painting into the black background. Using a black gradient, I faded out about ¼ of the top of the painting. It also faded out the white flowers but I painted over the visible shadows back to what they looked like to make it appear that they are transitioning into the black background. I loved the final product and so did she.

Is there a way of keeping part of a picture/photo constant while I vary other aspects of it in a shorter amount of time?

Tri Fold me pamphlet

I decided I wanted to make a little tri fold information packet with a few images of my sculpture, some contact info and an artist's statement. Although the statement is kind bad, I think the layout is a good start. I like the dark outside and light inside when it opens up. I am going to add some drop shadows, get rid of some outlines, add another picture, etc. I've got plans, but this is it in progress.

simple - but - I would have had to draw these by hand before taking the class...I'll print these on transparencies and use them for a silkscreen.
